Common issues and how to fix them
Step 1: Make sure microphone permissions are enabled. Go to your device's Settings > Haya > Microphone and ensure it's toggled ON.
Step 2: Close and reopen the app.
Step 3: Try checking in from a quieter environment — background noise can sometimes interfere with transcription.

Step 1: Check your device's notification settings: Settings > Notifications > Haya — make sure Allow Notifications is ON.
Step 2: In the Haya app, go to Settings and verify your notification preferences are enabled.
Step 3: Make sure you're signed in. Notifications are tied to your account.
Step 4: Try signing out and back in to refresh your notification token.
Step 1: Confirm that your partner has completed their check-in for the day.
Step 2: Pull down to refresh the dashboard.
Step 3: Verify you're both connected — go to your dashboard and check if your partner's name and status are visible.
Step 4: If the issue persists, both partners should close and reopen the app.
Step 1: Make sure both of you have created accounts in Haya.
Step 2: The inviting partner should share their couple code from the dashboard.
Step 3: The joining partner enters the code on their dashboard.
Step 4: Both partners need an active internet connection during the connection process.
Note: Each person can only be connected to one partner at a time. If you were previously connected to someone else, you'll need to disconnect first.
Step 1: Make sure you're running the latest version of Haya from the App Store.
Step 2: Force close the app and reopen it.
Step 3: Restart your device.
Step 4: Check that you have sufficient storage space on your device.
Step 5: If the issue continues, try signing out and back in. Haya caches data locally, and a fresh sign-in can resolve most performance issues.
Weekly insights are generated every Sunday morning based on the past week's check-ins. You need at least a few check-ins during the week for the AI to have enough data.
Daily affirmations refresh each day. If you're not seeing a new one, try pulling down to refresh.
Note: Both you and your partner's check-ins contribute to couple insights. The more consistently you both check in, the richer the insights will be.
Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account in the app. This will:
- Permanently delete all your personal data
- Remove your check-in history and insights
- Disconnect you from your partner
- Remove your notification tokens
- Clear all cached data
This action cannot be undone. If you want to use Haya again, you'll need to create a new account.
