1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Haya ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Haya is an AI-powered relationship companion app that provides:
- Daily voice and text check-ins for couples
- AI-generated relationship insights and weekly digests
- Mood tracking and emotional pattern analysis
- Personalized date and activity recommendations
- Partner connection and real-time sharing features
- AI concierge chat for relationship guidance
- Daily affirmations and relationship tips
3. Account Registration
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
- You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
- You may only create one account per person.
4. Partner Connection
- The partner connection feature requires the mutual consent of both parties.
- By connecting with a partner, you consent to sharing certain check-in data and insights with them.
- Either partner can disconnect at any time through the app settings.
- Each user can only be connected to one partner at a time.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
- Abuse, harass, or harm another person through the App.
- Submit false, misleading, or deceptive content.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App.
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure.
- Use the App to monitor, track, or surveil a partner without their knowledge.
- Share your account credentials with third parties.
6. AI-Generated Content
Important Disclaimer:
- AI-generated insights, recommendations, and chat responses are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only.
- Haya is not a substitute for professional relationship counseling, therapy, or mental health services.
- AI-generated content may not always be accurate, appropriate, or applicable to your situation.
- We encourage you to consult qualified professionals for serious relationship concerns.
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any AI-generated content.
7. Push Notifications
- You may receive push notifications for check-in reminders, partner activity, and weekly insights.
- You can manage notification preferences in the App's Settings.
- You can disable notifications entirely through your device settings.
8. Microphone and Voice Data
- The App requests microphone access for voice check-in features.
- Microphone access is only activated when you initiate a voice check-in.
- Audio is processed in real-time for transcription; raw audio recordings are not stored on our servers.
- You can deny or revoke microphone permissions at any time through your device settings.
9. Intellectual Property
- The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by mbas-concepts and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App.
10. User Content
- You retain ownership of content you submit (check-ins, reflections, photos).
- By submitting content, you grant Haya a non-exclusive license to use, process, and analyze it to provide the service.
- We will not share your content publicly without your explicit consent.
11. Account Deletion
- You may delete your account at any time through Settings > Account > Delete Account.
- Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed from our systems.
- Deletion also removes your partner connection.
- This action is irreversible.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, mbas-concepts and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of data or content
- Personal or relationship outcomes based on app usage
- Service interruptions or technical issues
- Actions taken based on AI-generated content
13. Disclaimer
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. Haya is a companion tool and not a replacement for professional therapy, counseling, or medical advice. If you or your partner are in crisis, please contact appropriate emergency services or mental health professionals.
14. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify you of significant changes via the App or email.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
